M.V. 'Copasetic'

Copasetic

The MV 'Copasetic' is a 141' Expedition Research Vessel built at Hike Metal Shipyard in Wheatley, Ont and launched in July, 2006. The vessel is classed and built under the survey of ABS for designation as A1 Commercial Yachting Service and is also built, inspected and certified to Maritime
and Coast Guard (MCA) standards. She is powered by twin 1000hp Caterpillar engines and has a top speed of 14 knots.

The vessel has spacious accommodations for 10 passengers and 5 crewmembers. The forward cargo deck can accommodate a modular laboratory for reserch projects throughout the world.

The vessel was designed by Guarino and Cox with interior design by Gold Coast Marine. E.Y.E. was responsible for all working drawings, numerical lofting, engineering support, stability and liaison with the shipyard, owner, ABS, MCA and designers during construction and continues to provide ongoing support for the vessel as required.
