Expander
Expander is a Rhinoceros 3 Plug-In to expand surfaces for production of many types of industrial goods such as ship hulls, shoes, upholstery, clothing, airplanes.
Expander Main Features
Surface Expansion - Expand any type and size of surface, any material
Map Curves - Map marking lines from the original 3D to the expanded 2D surface
Text Labeling - Define labels for 3D surface curves as well as for the mapped and 2D counterparts
Strain Analysis - Display and analyze deformation strain in 3D and 2D
Exporting - Export to DXF file format for nesting and NC-Processing

Expander Evaluation

Downloaded Expander will run for 15 days without a licensing key. You may continue using it if you purchase a license and validate it on your computer. The installation of Expander is site locked - it will work only on the computer for which it was validated.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Run the downloaded Expander......exe file
  2. Start Rhino
  3. Press Enter when the Expander splash screen appears. This will open the Expander License Configuration dialog
  4. In the Expander License Configuration dialog, copy the Site Code (highlight it, then press ‘CTRL-C’) and email it to sales@schindler.ca
  5. After processing your order we will email you the site key, which you should paste in the Expander License Configuration dialog to activate your license
