The Bras d'Or Sea is Canada's first sailing catamaran certified by Transport Canada to carry 49 passengers. This 15m catamaran's twin hulls are comprised of a cedar cored glass composite construction and performs ecological tours of the Bras d'Or Lakes in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Fitted with and enclosed cabin, snack bar facilities, sleeping quarters for the crew and fully wheelchair accessible, the Bras d'Or Sea can reach speeds of 20 knots under sail and, with it's twin 45hp outboard engines, can average 12 knots under power.
