The "Confederation" is a 600 passenger, 200 car double ended ferry which operates from Caribou, Nova Scotia to Wood Islands,
PEI. Measuring 108m in length, she is the largest ferry designed by EYE.
The "Confederation" was designed to meet the stringent "water on deck" criteria of S.O.L.A.S. The vessel is fitted with 2 moveable car decks
which allows her a great amount of flexibility in meeting the holiday traffic to PEI.
Although the new Confederation Bridge takes the majority of year round and commercial traffic, travellers still like the experience of a
journey by ship to round out their Maritime Experience.
