This project consisted of a design check and production drawings based on contract drawings from AMEC Americas Ltd. for two ice breaking pond support vessels for Syncrude for use in the Alberta tar ponds. Detailed production and system drawings and lofted parts were produced by E.Y.E. Marine Consultants for Hike Metal Products Ltd.

Machinery and Auxiliary Systems
Powered by two 150 kW John Deere engines, this vessel is fitted with dual z-drive azimuthing propulsors with nozzles. Engine cooling is by dual radiators above deck.
Outfitting
A HIAB 088B telescoping crane is fitted at the bow.

Constructed of welded steel, with aluminum wheelhouse.
