
This project consisted of the design of one more ice breaking pond support vessel for Syncrude for use in the Alberta tar ponds. See also Breaker 1 & Breaker 2. Detailed production and system drawings and lofted parts were produced by E.Y.E. Marine Consultants for building by Canadian Maritime Engineering Ltd.

Machinery and Auxiliary Systems
Powered by two 134 kW John Deere engines, this vessel is fitted with dual z-drive azimuthing propulsors with nozzles. Engine cooling is by dual radiators above deck.
Outfitting
A HIAB 088B telescoping crane is fitted at the bow.
